Fedora Core 4 and JDeveloper 10.0.1.3

Hi All,

I just upgraded my Fedora core 3 dev box to FEdora core 4 , allother applications/db's(oracle 10g) work fine(There were security issues with the startup oracle script but it was sort out by turning off the SE.

Anyways, I'm having trouble with JDeveloper 10g connecting to my other oracle dbs including the one residing on the box itself.

netmgr connections, tnsping goes all fine but the JDeveloper connection chokes , any clues/anyone?

BTW it's the thinjdbc driver connection.

TIA

Tarry

Tarry,
I have the same problem. Have you found a resolution to the issue on fedora core 4?

I did actually.

Just turn off the SE enhancement on th Fedora core box and your connections to local/network db will all run fine
