FC3 Internet connectivity issue
I recently upgraded to FC3 from FC2 and now I'm having rather odd internet connectivity issues. When I start up mozilla or firefox, it will just hang on "Connecting to <google's website address>", and never load the page, and does this for many other addresses, but not all. For example, I can connect to redhat's website and other seemingly random pages in my bookmarks (though they load noticably slower than usual). The really odd thing is that I can use the traceroute utility to trace to google. So, I'm a bit unsure of the nature of this problem. I connect via ethernet cable to a DSL modem, and my connection uses DHCP. During bootup, it shows the "eth0.................[OK]" message, and time synchonization seems to occur normally. If anyone can help me out with this, please let me know what further information I can post to help you understand.
Also, my internet connection works fine in windows XP.
Thanks in advance.
