athenerx Member Registered: Jun 2001 Location: miami Distribution: mandrake Posts: 126 Rep:	ethernet card and modem I have a toshiba laptop 3005-S304 which I install linux on. I was trying to setup a dialup connection, and I find the ethernet card and the modem use the same IRQ 10 I want to know what should I do to setup the modem in a different IRQ or to move the ethernet to a different IRQ instead of IRQ 10, which is both the ethernet and the modem use. the modem is manufactured by intel corporation and the ethernet is manufatured by realtek semicondoctor
