errornr=30

Where do I go to fix this?
I just created a new user (with his home directory shared in /etc/exports) and went to test the login from another machine.

Instead of letting me login, I'm getting this cryptic error message:
"""Could not open or create the file /home/gconway/.gconf-test-locking-file". This indicates there maybe a problem with your configuration as many programs will need to create files in your home directory. The error was Read Only File System.errornr=30"

gconway's home directory has permissions drwx. The line I made in /etc/exports is:
"/home/gconway *.home.net (drwx,no_root_squash,uid=501,gid=501)"

On the other machine I have put this line in /etc/fstab:
"homer.home.net:/home/gconway /home/gconway nfs defaults 00"
Thanks
Chris
