i just download the layer7 patch "kernel-2.6-layer7-0.9.1+working_with_2.6.9.patch" and when i patch it >>" patch -p1 < kernel-2.6-layer7-0.9.1+working_with_2.6.9.patch",
it prompt out an error..

[root@jin root]# patch -p1 < kernel-2.6-layer7-0.9.1+working_with_2.6.9.patch
can't find file to patch at input line 4
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?

So what should i do for this problem??i m using Fedora core2 kernel-2.6.9-1.6_FC2.i586.rpm

You will need to change into the kernel source directory before applying the patch.
