Error - dump logging in

I got a dumb terminal connected to the RH 8.0 system. I'm connecting via a Specialix Rio Remote Terminal Adapter. In the inittab, I have the following line:

SR15:3:respawn:/sbin/agetty -L 9600 ttySR15 vt100

This produces a login prompt on the terminal. However, here's the problem: when I type a login name on the terminal and press 'enter' the console receives this dump:

de-cd cdrom rio generic_serial autofs e1000 iptable_filter ip_tables st loop mouide-cd cdrom rio generic_serial autofs e1000 iptable_filter ip_tables st loop mousedev keybdev input hid usb-uhci usbcore ext3 jbd lvm-mod megaraid sd_mod scs
