Ok, I'm a total linux newbie (I just installed fedora about an hour ago) and I have a question about the dlink DWL-650+ wireless card. I went to their website and they didnt have a driver for it. I went looking on google for one and I got a bunch of scary words and stuff I dont understand (I've been using windows all my life, so I dont understand how to actually use a computer. =p If someone would be kind enough to give me some step by step instructions with links and words under 2 syllables which a poor windows user like myself would understand I would be very thankful. =p

Also know that the DWL 650+ is NOT a prism2 chipset - the chipset of your card will determine the method / software you need

you can get the driver at the first link (be sure and read the readme file) and the second link contains very good instructions.

You will need the kernel source loaded along with wireless tools, both should be found on your CD's.
