download ,upload to ftp


ok, this must be easy...
I opened a console, typed : ftp <server name> (of my school), and logged in succesfully. Now, how can I copy files from there to my computer and the other way? what commands do i use..?

The long answer:

Before you connect type "man ftp" and have a read through the various commands.

Once you're connected, if you forget a command type "help" or "help <command>" for a reminder.

The short answer:
get <filename>
put <filename>

thanks man!

I made it. Everything 's working perfectly! I'm leaving now, gotta manage the examination. My teacher will be pleased, (and she is a 26 beautiful lady...) hehehe
