DNS SRV by IP

I use DNS SRV for SIP and other services but something I have been trying to find out about is how you might be able to use it to load balance based on IPs, no names.

In other words, I have a case where I need to load balance across several servers because because DNS going AWOL could be an issue, I'd like to use IPs only.

Can this be done?

Darn, what was I thinking. It's not SRV I'm looking for, it's simple IP load balancing. I've used piranah before and it worked just fine.

Thanks very much for getting my brain on track
