I am using Centos and runing machine on live ip's at LAN, but DNS which i mentioned in /etc/resolve.conf are not working. where as i have tried to change lan cable with eth0 and eth1 but result same. when i check status of both interfaces with mii-tool it shows no link wd WAN eth whether its eth0 or eth1. can anybody help me to solve it out.
Okay, the first thing you have to do is establish a link. Check both ends
of your network cable to make sure it doesn't look worn and that it is
fully plugged in. You will probably see little lights turn on when the
connection is good. If needed, replace the cable or get assistance from
your network person.
