dns&mail server


hi linux users


i want to setup a mail server in my localnetwork in my sendmail conf
so i want to dns first in my redhat linux 7.3
pl help how to set send mail & dns in my red hatlinux 7.3

yes, the questions you are asked are generally covered by two books, "sendmail administration" which has about 800 pages, and "dns administration" which has around 400. We can not set a mail server up just like that, please ask when you have a *specific*issue which you are having trouble resolving.

hi
i want to just configure a mail server in my local network
for my personal purpose. i my network 82 pcs here
i want to configure 1t0 5 users via in my linux mail server.

so i want to dns & mail server for this purpose
pl help me. iwant to give this particular

my dns ip:10.100.102.61

my mail server name:linuxmail.com

how to create it this funcations

This really is a very very large subject, look at the howtos at http://tldp.org and the documentation for bind (dns) and your chosen mail server, e.g. sendmail, qmail, postfix, exim. if you have no prior experience to mail servers i would strongly suggest using exim, as it's stupidly easy to configure.
