I'm on Shaw cable service, and have successfully setup the router with Windows 2000. However, my mdk9.1 computer doesn't see the router at all, despite numerous attempts to configure it.

If it helps, I'm configuring it as a static IP at 192.168.0.* (the router is at 1 and the W2K box at 100, so anything other than those two).

DLink refuses to offer support, as it involves something other than Windows, even though they readily admit they could. Similarly Shaw refuses support for any situation involving DLink hardware, so I'm pretty much out of luck when it comes to that kind of support.

I have the same router, I have had it connected through the browsers at one point but I've just tried now, and it doesn't work.

Hmmm I let you know as soon as I figure out whats going on.

Oh and update the firmware asap. theirs a couple of nasty bugs in the original.
