Disallowing root login in SSH
i was wondering how i can disallow root to login via ssh or be su'd during an ssh session. thanks in advanced for any help.

Add:
PermitRootLogin no
To sshd_config then restart the ssh server.

Edit the file /etc/ssh/sshd_config
and on the PermitRootLogin line, change yes to no.
You would do this to increase security.
Since all Linux systems have a root user and root has full access to the system,
disallowing access from the outside (internet) increases overall security.
