dig problem .


I want to get a IP address from hostname.
Here i have the problem like this..



[root@hall43 root]# dig google.com

Can u pls resolve this problem ??

[root@hall43 root]# nslookup www.yahoo.com
Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.

Non-authoritative answer:
*** Can't find www.yahoo.com: No answer

Do you have your dns servers correctly configured in /etc/resolv.conf?

After some experiment with my DNS server..
