Am running a dhcp derver with Mandrake 9.0. All three connections going to the server were fine.

I changed the OS on my laptop from Mandrake 9.0 to Red Hat 9.0, and dhcp would not work for the laptop.

Could not get it to work with redhat, so I moved the laptop to Mandrake 9.1, and it still will not connect.

eth0 is on, and it physically is showing as connected to the switch, it just will not connect to the dhcp server. I cannot determine if it is a problem with the server ( which is still working fine for the rest of the network ) or the laptop which would not connect under redhat or mandrake.
