Dhcp server and iptables (linux machine as a router)


hi all,
would anybody kindly let me know how i can configure the iptables and dhcp server..??
i want a linux machine to work as a router..
kindly tell me all the steps..

Do you have a computer with at least two Linux-compatible NICs?

Do you already have GNU/Linux running on this computer? If so, which distribution?
