dhcp client problem.

My dhcp client doesn't take ip from server,

#/etc/init.d/network restart

Determining IP information for eth1... failed; no link present. Check cable? [FAILED]

And when i give static ip(manually not with the dhcp server) to this client it works fine (network start properly)

Check the logs. ALWAYS CHECK THE LOGS.
