Damn Small Linux printer, sharing with mac/pc?

Ok here is the setup. i have an old ibm thinkpad, and a pcmcia to ethernet network card. i would like to connect the printer to the ibm, then the ibm to a hub and share the printer over the network. is this possible? also the ibm is a 760ED with 16mb ram, and a gig of disk space, the printer is an hp laserjet 6mp. thoughts on a distro or good way to do this?

If this project is not gonna be easy, then at the least i would like it to be a simple internet workstation....tips?

Hi,

I apologize a sort of stupid reply.

I used to to something like your configuration. Local printer as one on network. BUT, it was long ago, and I do not remember much. It was not complicated, only several lines on config file.

Happy Penguins!
