Angry Connection Linux to Linux server

Hello all,

I am totallly new to Linux and I need and appreciate any /all help with my issue.

I have a Linxu Server and Linux workstation. How can I connect and login
to the server from the workstation.

I am running RedHat 9 on both boxes connected via a router that acts as DHCP

Thanks in advance

Thanks very much for your help.
When you say "command prompt" , do u mean the Terminal ? And is that the
only way ? I mean, isn't there a graphical interface like in Windows ?

Thanks again ... much appreciated

Yes.
command prompt == command line == Terminal == Console

Yes, you can use the vncserver and vncviewer.
As long as both the workstation and the server have X running (graphical environment).

If u want GUI try VNC

#on server start the vnc server by the following command
vncserver

# on other computer .. remember ':1' is desktop
vncviewer ip.of.the.server:1

this will open GUI of the server
