Question Configuring ADSL with SUSE 7.2

I would really appreciate if any one can help me to configure my adsl connection with SUSE7.2. from what it seems this broadband connection i have is not so usuall but this is the setup.

1)speedtouch home (alcatel modem)
2) VPN connection type

can this be done just by setting up through yast1 or 2 or do i need to import some files, drivers etc. connection is complicated even on win xp so i would really be grateful for some easy to use instructions.

thanks

Update your suse to 8.2 or 9 and then try... at least then you might stand a chance
