Config NetComm SM4200 Modem Linux chipset 2.0 Kernal

I have been trying to config my modem Netcomm SM4200 Smart i-share modem with a Linux chip using 2.3.0 kernel. It has a Advanced config area via web browser interface .

I have been trying to let mail in though port 25. I was told my tech support people to use the following but just change the IP's addresses to suit mine. But I think that I must be doing something wrong as the mail is not getting though to my LAN? The below is just of on the configs I have tried!

ipportfw -A -t 127.0.0.0/25 -R 192.168.1.2/25
