changing port 110

Hi all,

I am trying to set up a webbased email system, but my incoming mail (port 110) is blocked by my ISP. How can I switch this so that my system (redhat 7.2) can listen on another port?

Thanks,

Jon

if you are using a webmail , the filter on 110 from ISP should not bother you .

also if your mail is listening on another port.. remember, everytime you wanted to check your mail on that server, you would have to make sure whoever retrieving mail specifies the new port, as most clients come default on port 110..
