Question Cannot connect to my WPA2 WAP w/ NetworkManager, Wicd

I'm having some trouble connecting my MacbookPro8,3 (Late 2012) running on Kali Linux (3.14-kali1-amd64) to my WPA2 wireless access point. I have successfully obtained an IP address at one point a few days ago while using network-manager, but I could not access the Internet or successfully ping hosts like google.com.

The output of ifconfig wlan0 from that successful associated was the following:
Code:
wlan0     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 68:a8:6d:3c:d7:8a
          inet addr:192.168.1.108  Bcast:192.168.1.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
          inet6 addr: fe80::6aa8:6dff:fe3c:d78a/64 Scope:Link
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          RX packets:242467 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:302437 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:233552457 (222.7 MiB)  TX bytes:37095539 (35.3 MiB)
Since then, however, I've been unable to connect using NetworkManager / wicd / pure wpa_supplicant + dhclient, even though the logs will tell me that the 4WAY_HANDSHAKE completed successfully... I've boosted my txpower for wlan0 to see if that made any difference. It didn't, sadly. I've installed the b43 driver for my BCM4331 wireless card, but that doesn't seem to have any effect, either. I am able to connect to another WPA (not WPA2) network just fine with the same system. So I'm not quite sure what is going on.

I will list some system details -- particularly regarding the wireless card + associated drivers -- as well as any logs that could potentially provide some clues. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I can provide further details if required.

Access point info
  • Router+firmware: Linksys router with Tomato WAP firmware
  • BSSID: 00:23:69:50:43:58
  • PWR: -84
  • CH: 6
  • ENC: WPA2
  • CIPHER: CCMP
  • AUTH: PSK
  • ESSID: myawesomewifi
Wicd-generated wpa_supplicant configuration
Code:
#the wpa_supplicant configuration created and used by wicd (/var/lib/wicd/configurations/002369504358)
network={
       ssid="myawesomewifi"
       scan_ssid=1
       proto=WPA RSN
       key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
       pairwise=CCMP TKIP
       group=CCMP TKIP
       psk="thisisnotmypass"
}
