Long story short I am trying to set up chillispot+mysql+freeradius to direct all within a certain network to a captive portal which will accept and store whatever user/password combination they provide.
There would idealy be a list somewhere so I can print out the results at the end of the day.
I've not been seeing an easy way to do this and I'm not familer with radius or chillispot. I have used some mysql. I did not know if there was some setting within freeradius that I could change to enable this functionality or if I should be looking somewhere else.
If anyone knows or can steer me in the right direction it would be wonderful.
So far I am thinking that I might have to look at how authentication works and custom write a cgi script that will store the username/password combo in a file. Then just allow them to go on. I dont even know if chillispot would support this.
Anyways once again any help would be wonderful as I am at a bit of a loss right now
The idea is that there are no set username and passwords. The user would ideally type a number for thier login name and the password would be their last name.
Policy here for some reason wants them to not deny people with wrong credentials from having access to the internet but we would like to have a list to try to match up to people.
What I'm thinking right now is too create one login and password which is hidden and submits on the page each time. They will see a login and password form which will just store that information to a file when they hit submit.
