can i bridge eth0:1 with eth1?


i have two interfaces
eth0 eth1
eth0:0 external ip
eth0:1 internal ip

can i bridge eth0:0 with eth1?

I'm not so sure your explanation about eth0 & eth1 is clear enough..

Bridging takes ethernet packets rather than ip packets, and an eth alias is merely an ip alias.

You can leave ip numbers on bridged interfaces, no problem.
