Can DHCP handle two static addresses with same hostname?

I have a laptop with both wired and wireless capability. The dhcpd.conf I use doles out a static address to the wired connection, but a pool addie to the wireless. Is their a way to give a static address to both (not at the same time)? How will this affect updating DNS zones? In other words, will the FQDN be updated with the appropriate IP address based on which i/f I'm using?

Both adapters will have different MAC addresses, so they both can be entered in dhcpd.conf to lease a static IP (probably they may even have the same one).
Dynamic DNS update should not be a issue either.

If you combine dhcp with bind, you will have an issue (I seem to recall that this was a matter that had been flagged as the isc, but it was on the to do list), but it isn't fatal.

I get the same thing happening whenever a normally wireless laptop get connected via cable - named complains that the hostname isn't one of bind's, but it still works apart from that issue.
