Broad band connection sharing between xp and fedora 8

Hi all,

I have two machines at my home. I use one machine as server (which is directly connected to the internet and sharing from xp). But the problem is in client machine I can use internet only from my windows xp. I can't access internet from fedora 8. I have changed the option at network section to get ip automatically or setting static ip but they does not work.

Please give me suggestion what to do now to activate internet connection on both xp and fedora 8 at my client machine.

Information at my client side:

IP : 192.168.0.127
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.0.1
DHCP server : 192.168.0.1
DNS server : 192.168.0.1
WINS server : 4.2.21

Please help me quickly.

Thanks
ABDULLAh

Hi abdullahcsedu, Welcome to lq. May I ask, what is the network topology, or how are the machines connected.
Good luck. ;-)
