Unhappy "Bringing up interface eth0" and wait...

Hello people... I'm new on Linux. I tried some distros like Suse and Mandrake and now I wish to use Fedora. I'm using Fedora Core 2...
Well, I use the internet throught a cable modem with DHCP IP and it works fine on Windows and did worked fine too on Suse and Madrake..
Well, on Fedora, when it is initializing, it says "[ok]" to all interfaces but to eth0 it says nothing and make me wait and wait... Can anyone help me? I had the same problem with Red Hat 9 in other computer and don't know very much about Linux to solve this problem by myself...
Thanks, and waiting... (a little more)
Josejose
