apache: url to alias directory w/o '/'

Hi,

I have some sites that I have defined using aliases. so that I have
a site with a url like this

http://www.example.com/sitealias/

Notice at the end there is a '/'

Is it possible to have the URL, http://www.example.com/sitealias point to the exact same
place?

Thanks.
