apache problem

Hello,

I am having a problem with my web server. Both static and cgi pages work fine when I access it locally. When I access it via my ip adderss (71.32.43.241) only the static page works. The following links work:

http://71.32.43.241/cust.html
http://tom/cgi-bin/cshop?sz=IN&pgtyp...itp=QST&pgno=0

The following don't work:

http://71.32.43.241/cgi-bin/cshop?sz...itp=SLL&pgno=0
http://localhost/cgi-bin/cshop?sz=TD...itp=QST&pgno=0
/cgi-bin/cshop?sz=NB&pgtyp=FAB&ditp=QSS&pgno=0

These links are in the cust.html page.

The error messag I get is:

Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/welcome was not found on this server.

I can't figure out why it is looking for welcome in stead of cshop.

The whole program worked fine while I was testing it without being hooked up to the internet, but as soon as I tried to access it through the static ip address the cgi part stopped working.

Any suggestions as to what might be wrong or how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Make sure all the virtual servers are using the same document aliases..

There is a default alias for cgi-bin files in the beginning of the conf file, and entries possible in each virtual server definition.
Each time you use a different url, you will use a different virtual server..

Virtual Servers

Hello,

There aren't any virtual servers.
Here is a part of the config file. could this be the problem? Are there any ways to troubleshoot this kind of problem? I still have no idea why the error messages say welcome instead of cshop.

ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/home/live2/cgi-bin/"

#
# "/var/www/cgi-bin" should be changed to whatever your ScriptAliased
# CGI directory exists, if you have that configured.
#
<Directory "/home/live2/cgi-bin">
AllowOverride None
Options ExecCGI
SetHandler cgi-script
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>

Thanks,

Mark
