Ok...how about some information about your environment? What version and distro of Linux are you running? What version of Apache?
Also, how the pages are displayed, depends on how your web page is written. What are you trying to do? What's in page.html that calls the image? Does this page work on another server, or are you trying somthing new?
Apache version 2.2.8 with Ubuntu 8.04
I have webmin managing the server.
Basicaly when i preview it in quanta the image is there, and when i go on the website just the frame is displayed.
This is what it says "<img style="border: 2px solid ; width: 214px; height: 93px;" alt="" src="file:///var/www/ready.png"
The whole text of the website displays fine just the image thats suposse to be there is a little X in explorer or in firefox just empty.

The error is in your html code. The src should be a path to the file name, something like:
src="/images/ready.png"
or whatever directory off of the document root you have your images stored. Calling it like you are may be the problem. If your docroot is /var/www, you should try to leave off the "file:///var/www/" part of the src argument, and just put the image name.
