I have redhat 7.2 with squid and apache running on it.
I cant get to my webstie hosted by apache from any external computer (i can reach it from my local computers in my network).
I looked at the error log of Apache and it says that it couldnt bind to port 80 because something else was using that port.
I did netstat -a and it shows that something is doing something on my http port. I did "netstat -p | grep http" to find the PID, but it didnt show anything, i also did "netstat -p" and it didnt show that port numbers (or names) which the processes were connected to. I am not sure what else could be using port 80, because i have installed a bare minimum in that computer, it basically just squid and apache. Got any ideas?

You might want to try lsof, a tool for showing files and sockets that are in use by processes. It should help you figure out which process has grabbed port 80.
