Red face an oldie but a goodie


Im a noob with the whole linux networking thing and I'm having problems getting xp as a ics host and mandy 9 as a client to talk loop back ping is fine but when i ping the mandy box's own ip i get the horrible connection timed out msg ive checked all the config files but cant see anything wrong i know ive overlooked prob the simplest thing but it seams to illude me at the mo.
p.s nic is installed and apparently working and i cant ping mandy box from xp
any links to good a good tutorial would be appreciated jus dont ask for anything in return

Let me see if I understand what you're asking.

You want to use Windoze ICS to allow your linux box to get access to the web?

Have you thought about reversing this and allow windoze to get access through your linux box?
