A bit strange

I am having a slight problem with a new redhat box I have built - the box is running Redhat 7.2 and has been installed headless - ie no KDE/KNOME and can only be accessed by SSH

Everything works file - all the other linux, Solaris and windows machines can connect to the new box and the new box can connect to all the other boxes. The only problem is that the new box can't access the internet.

I have set the box up like all the others

Quote:
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=static
IPADDR=192.168.0.100
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
ONBOOT=yes
I think the problem is that the default.route 192.168.0.1 isn't set? But I get this

[root@deskpro network-scripts]# /sbin/route add 192.168.0.1
SIOCADDRT: No such device

OOps
