3com U.S.R. ISDN Pro TA (Red Hat 9)

Hi,
I'm having problems configuring my ISDN dial-up connection. I have configured modem (the hardware part). It's a USB 3Com U.S. Robotics ISDN Pro TA and it works under Linux. I have created the ttyACM0 and I'm able to communicate to modem. I don't know how to conifgure pppd (ipppd). The info I found on the net got me to the part where I get ppp garbage on the screen (tail -f /var/log/messages). The info I found is mainly for analog modems. Can I use my device with ISDN4Linux?
I'm running RedHat 9.0.
Thanks for your help.
