Question 'after test install' question...

Firstly, I have a static IP running on a MSAFD TCP/IP network protocol piped thru a dsl modem connected to my Linksys NC100 Fast Ethernet Adapter.
When I tried SuSE 9.1 Pro almost 4 months ago it only supported pppoe and atm connections and could not support an internet connection like I have (at all). Does anyone know if that's changed, I have 1500 bandwidth which would be awesome to use under SuSE 9.1 Pro.
