I'm going to be getting an HTC One V in a few weeks, and i came across something online about how android can't store apps on an microSD. is this true? does that mean i can only store Apps in the 4gb of flash memory the phone comes with?
i don't really care where the phone wants to store an app, but i don't like being restricted to 4gb of Apps. i planned on getting a 32gb microSD to allow for more storage, and i don't want to find out that i won't be able to install apps on any of those 32 gigabytes.
i just got the phone yesterday, and i did some exploring...i am not sure if it is android 4.0 or HTC sense 4.0 or what it is, but the option to move apps to the SD card is built in already...
i checked out the app you mentioned, though, and it looked like it would have done the job if i needed it to.
yeah i think experimenting would be the right word choice there...i had to go and get telus to replace the phone since it had a defect in the screen. Before that i had downloaded angry birds and moved to SD. when i got the new phone and put the SD card in, it didn't pick up the app. i don't know if that was how it was supposed to happen...maybe some sort of copy protection(?)
I have recently acquired an Android tv. But the problem is that the app store on the device isn't the official android app store. The Android tv has usb ports and can install apps from a usb drive. And I have an android phone that has apps on it. How do I move/copy some of the apps on my android phone to a usb stick?
Also I have tried selecting copy app to sd card on the android os but I can't seem to find the app on the sd card.
