Question how to post buffering percent to application from Gstreamer-plugin while streaming

Dear *,
i am trying to integrate a Gstreamer based media player application with a Gstreamer plugin developed to stream a media over network and play the same in an application.
And i am able to play the same.

But i to want display the Buffering progress in % on an application while the media is being buffered before start of playback.
Can anyone please suggest me some way by which i can do the same?

Till now i have used the Message Posting APIs of Gstreamer F/W to do the same but it sems useful only to get the buffer percent once and not iteratively untill it reaches 100%.
Is their any standard way of doing the same either in plug-in OR application??

Thanks in Advance !
