How to flash Asus Fonepad 7 using Lubuntu ?

Hi,

I am trying to flash Asus fonepad 7 using Lubuntu.

Code:
# sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
Code:
# fastboot flash recovery custom-recovery.img< waiting for device >
I have booted the phone by pressing the Vol+Power key.

As mentioned above the process is stuck at < waiting for device >
