XFCE compositor doesn't work


hello
i installed today in vmware latest Mint XFCE
and nothing in compositor options work,
transparency, opacity, animations, thumbnails ... ...

nothing
yet 2 versions ago, it all worked fine

what seems to be problem ?

You could try turning off compositing.

Then open the xfce settings tool and find the setting for xfwm4 where it says vblank.

Set the value to off instead of auto.

Reboot and then reactivate compositing.

This will disable vsync so to restore it, you will probably need to look at settings for glx and then reboot.
