Upgrade to Mint 20.3 Una?

I have been using Mint on this desktop since 2021 January. It has worked well although Chromium does not work. Just now I updated and there was a broken package notice. Checking for the link to find it, if it was regarding the Kernel, I found I could upgrade to Mint 20.3 Una. Is it a good idea?

Novatian,

Surely it's a better idea to install LM 21.2?

If you have a separate Home partition, it is a relatively simple matter:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...-distro-37074/

Failing that, backup all personal data and bookmarks etc and do a fresh installation of LM 21.2, this time with a separate Home partition.

Do not attempt an in-situ upgrade because it will almost certainly go wrong!

I think a BETTER idea would be to update to 21.3.

FenderGuy,

LM 21.3 was released on 12th January 2024.

My previous post is dated 21st November 2023, when LM 21.2 was current.
