Linux Mint 11 - Display Issue (Window painting probelm)


Hi,

my display getting messy like the attached image, after i installed linux mint 11. This is not happening with my windows or earlier version in my desktop pc. how to resolve it? or just go back to linux mint 10?

Have you tried looking for additional hardware drivers? There's an application for that in the System or Settings menu. Even if you did it first time you used Mint 11 maybe there's an updated version of drivers.

Otherwise, why go back to 10 when 12 is out? Unless you hate Gnome 3, of course. But then there's good work being done on Cinnamon and it's already quite usable on Mint 12.
