Hello,

here is my issue:

After starting my Linux Mint on a ThinkPad T430, everything is operational very quickly with the exception of the left mouse click which is activated only after a delay of around 30 to 60 seconds.

This delay is very penalizing in use. The mouse, middle and right click of the toutchpad work perfectly during this time.

Do you have any idea about this issue and/or how can I fix it?
I do not found anything in the syslog.

Here is my version. The PC was recently reinstalled due to this problem but to no effect.

Welcome to LQ forums.

First, borrow and try a different mouse which is definitely working properly.

If that mouse also exhibits the same left click delay then further investigation is needed.

EDIT
Alternatively go to Cinnamon Settings > Mouse > Drag & Drop.

You may find that changing the Cinnamon drag threshold will improve the response.

Try setting it to 1.
