introduction
hi all.ive just returned to linux after a few years on windows,using mint 14..finished getting it instaled with out pulling my hair out.used ubuntu 8.04 years back and gave up...then 11.04..rubbish,then 12.10..poopoo...finaly i got mint...loverly.every thing worked with minimal problems..(broadcom.ralink drivers)running a compaq mini 110 with 2gb and 500gb hybrid drive.got to do a compiz install and find a good music player that loads all my music into one place and plays it like windows media player,have a bit of a tweek up on the grapics and im ready to give up on windows for good..i dont do complicated stuff and i like things to work like it says on the tin,so far mint hasnt dissapointed.well thats it for my introduction waffle.now of for a cruise about in the forum...hairyjim0128
