Could not boot into LinuxMint

Hi

I have installed LinuxMint14 os into my system along Windows 7
I formatted a drive for the os(F drive) for that and successfully installed the OS. But while booting there is no option to choose the OS (win 7 / LinuxMint14 ) system is directly getting booted to windows , help me find a solution for this , early waiting to use a Linux OS.

It sounds like you didn't install the GRUB2 bootloader.

I installed the grub2 using the command
sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/sda
--
now my system boots using grub2
which shows both Windows 7
Linux Mint
