Installing Mint 12 (live DVD)on a Lenovo Ideapad S10-3 netbook I get to the "Choose a picture" window but the executable buttons on the bottom of the window are off-screen. Moving the cursor to the upper right makes that window smaller but clicking on the Continue or Back buttons merely puts it back to the original size. Thus, I can't continue the install right now and it is stuck on a really stupid option, i.e., whether to have a cute puppy or kitten on the login screen or, via the netbook's camera, my scary and ugly viz. I know the F11 key in Firefox allows window re-sizing but is there a quick fix for this little issue? Thanks.
Well, THAT was easy! Thanks much. We find here at work there are many such quirky little keystroke deals that solve issues like this, with RH cluster consoles, CLI lines, etc., but this is a new one on me as I am a noob with netbooks. Thanks again.
Yeah, it is frustrating... a lot of applications are developed for 1024x768 displays, but the netbooks only have 600 vertical pixels... it is not as bad as it used to be, though... more and more developers are sensitive to netbook screen size compared with a few years ago.
