i am using Red Hat 9, have a lynksys wifi card. will connect to any wireless network easily, but out of nowhere it will drop offline with an n/a signal. have to go into net config and deactivate eth1 , then activate it again. it will happen three or four times when i am online..
This probably won't be of any help, but I had the same thing happening to me with a different model of card--I returned it to newegg, and bought a different brand (I'm not at home, and don't remember the brand I bought)--no drops since...

wifi card just drops offline
