What evwer i do there is no sound....


Hi Guys... right to the problem....

i have insstaled couple of Linux distros on my laptop, starting from Ubuntu, kubuntu, SUSE, slackware and finaly Blacktrack 4 R2 but the problem is always the same... whatever I do I have no sound. I have spend the lat couple of days googling but all i tryed didn`t work.

the problem is laptops speakers are broken so im stucked with the headphones, but there is no sound at all in Linux ( in Windows XP works all fine...)

in alsa mixer is all fine all is up heatphones are not muted and they work.. in windows...

can someone help me ? to fix the problem?

hahah OMGG so simple......
this worket for me.... and I tryed so meny things... and this simple thing worked DDDDDDDDDDD haha
options snd-hda-intel model=hp

after reboot i unmuted in console alsamixer and all is working fine now : ) 10xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx u

Hie Guys I`m again the problem is back!!!

it worked fine a day and a half and now wen i start some music it bugs and i hire the same sound 100000 like "dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dna dan..." and i cant stop it unless ill kill X server ( sometimes ill mast reboot to stop the annoying sound...
i have tried the other options but it`s stays the same... and firefox is freezing often what could be the problem???
i haven`t done anything... i watched a movie and all was fine in in the next minute the sound stops working.

and i have one more question... this line options snd-hda-intel model=hp
from where comes this options snd-hda-intel I haven`t understand it quite well

SORRY FOR MY BEAD English and 10x for the help gratitude

PS: my ugly laptop is a Packard Bell and im starting to hate it!!! it seems that linux can`t run well on it...

hmmm it seems it is form the players ...
when i play a movie or music witch mplayer it work`s ... i have sound without "dan dna dan dan dna dna dan dan" but if i want to stop mplayer or give pause the annoying sound comes " dan dnandandanda nda dna...."

if i start eny other player its the same... what could be wrong?????????????
