Question Too large fonts when booting livecd

Hi. I remarked a strange problem on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, when I try to boot from some live cds. The menu (and everything) has huge fonts, which make the system unusable (for example, it happened with Sidux and with Mint.) Somebody know why is that happening?

I think this is the console font. You can probably choose one or select one when you load the boot loader. I know that DSL will prompt you to choose one, not sure about the live cd's you mentioned.
