Tablet PC installation

Hi

I can't install any type of Linux on my tablet PC. I looked at the error messages and they all say Kernal Panic can't continue.

Is there any way to sort this out?

What sort of laptop is it?
Whiich distro/s have you tried?

On some laptops you need to boot with extra options, usually pressing F1 before pressing Enter to boot will list them.

It's an Averatec C3500 Tablet PC

I've tried Mandriva, SUSE 9.2, Fedora and Slackware

OK
I found the following for you...

This is a link to a "how I did it" account of SuSE 9.2 on the machine you have.
http://www.robsell.com/averatec.html

The second link has a bunch of links to "distro xxx on laptop & notebooks" towards the botton of the page.
http://tuxmobil.org/distribution_linux_laptop_suse.html

Hope this helps some.
